Mary Gaiser has over 25 years of experience as a transactions and real estate paralegal. She works with Gallagher’s investor clients to help them navigate the complex tax credit landscape to develop affordable housing communities.
Collaborating closely with the investors and developers, Mary assists with various corporate, zoning, and real estate matters. As part of her role, she reviews title commitments and proformas and their related exceptions and required endorsements, and works directly with title companies to resolve outstanding issues. Mary also reviews ALTA Surveys, site plans, zoning documents, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings, judgments, litigation and tax lien searches, and various organizational documents, related resolutions, and closing certificates. Mary has closed transactions all over the country, and is well versed in the title nuances of several states. She hosts due diligence meetings and runs syndicator checklist reviews for clients, as well as reviewing final loan, equity, and title closing documents for closings.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Mary worked for a large New York City law firm in its Transactions and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.
