Joseph (Joe) DuChane supports clients across industries on a broad range of business transactions and compliance matters.
In his role, Joe regularly advises on a variety of corporate governance-related matters, including company formations, internal reorganizations, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. He also regularly drafts resolutions, filings, and other documentation in support of corporate transactions, and prepares and reviews internal and external agreements.
Within the Renewable Energy part of his practice, Joe works with lenders who finance and refinance solar power systems by drafting documents for, and advising clients on, development, installation, and permanent loans.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Joe was a corporate associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Washington, D.C. advising on corporate governance and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, sports, and technology transactions. Joe also regularly assisted non-profit entities pro bono with their formation, governance, and tax exemption filings. He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kevin Arthur of the Appellate Court of Maryland (2017) and the Honorable Pamela White of the Circuit Court for Baltimore City (2017).

Beyond Gallagher
Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing music, gaming, and avidly supporting his favorite sports teams. When not working with clients, Joe can be found on Sundays in the fall performing as a member of Baltimore’s Marching Ravens.
