Gallagher Advises True Ground Housing Partners on The Linden Senior Residences

Gallagher served as the legal advisor to True Ground Housing Partners, Inc., a nonprofit affordable housing developer, on the recently opened The Linden Senior Residences in Northern Virginia.

This new $64 million community, True Ground’s second in Loudon County, creates 130 units of affordable housing for adults 55 and older near Chantilly, VA. In addition to homes designed to maximize accessibility, the development features 10,000 square feet of amenity space, including a fitness center with specialized equipment for aging adults, gathering spaces, a wellness suite, and business center.

The Linden is part of a larger community that will include retail, offices, and additional housing. The planned second phase, The Maple, will add affordable family housing, creating a multigenerational community where residents of all stages of life can thrive.

Gallagher advised True Ground on the property acquisition, debt and equity financing (including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits), architectural and engineering contracts, and various real estate matters for the project. The team was led by Ben Rubin, Jessica Weston, and Emily Johnson, with assistance from Matthew Oakey and Terry Wesselman.
