Gallagher is pleased to announce that former federal attorney Jean Zachariasiewicz has joined as Counsel in its Litigation practice, further enhancing the firm’s capabilities at the trial and appellate levels.

Jean, who joins Gallagher from the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., has extensive experience overseeing every phase of dispute resolution and internal investigations, including negotiations with government representatives and the implementation of court-ordered remedies.

In addition to her experience in the public sector, Jean previously held roles in private practice where she focused on litigating civil rights cases in state and federal courts across the country.

“We are excited to welcome Jean to Gallagher. Her diverse experience, strong record of success, and commitment to our community and the legal profession make her a valuable addition to the firm,” said Tom Dame, Managing Partner at Gallagher.

Jean received her Juris Doctor from Columbia University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia. Outside of her practice, she currently serves on the board of directors for the Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership and the Village Learning Place.
