Gallagher is pleased to announce that Chris Anderson has joined the firm as an Associate in its Real Estate and Affordable Housing practices, providing end-to-end support to lenders, investors, and developers.
Chris arrives with a long track record of advising on the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, financing, operation, and disposition of both affordable and market-rate residential projects. His background includes negotiating portfolio sales and acquisitions, facilitating financing transactions, advising on nonprofit tax exemptions, and structuring joint ventures with a focus on projects financed with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, bond financing (tax-exempt and taxable), and other sources of HUD, state, local, and other gap financing.

Chris received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Salisbury University. Outside of his practice, he serves as a Board Member for the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland.
