Gallagher is pleased to announce that Mark Saudek has been chosen by The Daily Record as a winner of this year’s Leadership in Law award. Leadership in Law awards are given to Maryland lawyers who, in addition to their regular legal work, have devoted time and energy to improving the legal profession and the community in which they live and work.
In addition to his work in Gallagher’s Litigation Group, Mark has participated in significant community service.  He is currently serving as board chair of The Loading Dock, a non-profit devoted to the re-use of building materials. Mark is also the president-elect of the Federal Bar Association in Maryland and chairs the Pro Bono Volunteer Lawyers Committee of the United States District Court in Maryland.  The Pro Bono committee seeks to find volunteer lawyers to work with clients who are representing themselves in federal court.  Mark is also a program chair of Open Doors to the Federal Courts, a program that seeks to educate students about our legal system and give them hands-on experience with the judicial process.
