Diane McCarthy provides end-to-end support for Gallagher’s clients and transactions practice group, from corporate governance to commercial real estate development and acquisitions.
Diane coordinates with attorneys and third parties such as title companies and surveyors to resolve issues related to the acquisition of commercial properties and assists with the coordination and management of the entire closing process. Her responsibilities include the review of title commitments, title proformas, surveys, zoning reports, and judgment and litigation reports, while also drafting organizational charts, closing checklists, various organizational documents, closing certificates, resolutions, related assignments, and the filing of organizational documents among multiple states.
In addition to transaction support, Diane also collaborates with Gallagher’s clients and attorneys on drafting real property tax assessment appeals, tax exemption applications, and related needs across various jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Diane worked in the legal department for a multinational bank where she supported the team handling mutual funds.
