As part of Gallagher’s Business Transactions and Renewable Energy practices, Kata Kylliainen helps clients across industries with end-to-end aspects of their mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other transactions.
Kata earned her JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating summa cum laude in 2025. While there, she was a distinguished scholar in the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and served as the symposium editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review. Upon graduation, Kata was awarded a Dean’s Citation in recognition of her efforts in organizing a symposium on States and the Battle to Secure Reproductive Freedoms Post-Dobbs.

Outside of work, Kata is a yogi and a foodie. She can be found teaching and attending yoga classes, trying out a local restaurant, or testing a new recipe at home.
