With over 10 years of affordable housing experience, Kathryn Ripley utilizes her background as a commercial real estate paralegal to support attorneys with affordable housing and tax credit transactions.

Kathryn’s responsibilities include managing complex deal checklists, arranging due diligence with third parties, aiding entity formations, reviewing UCC, litigation, and lien searches, examining real estate closing documentation, and comprehensive commercial title and survey review in accordance with ALTA standards.

Prior to joining Gallagher, Kathryn worked at multiple law firms specializing in affordable housing, where she prepared closing documents and coordinated lender, investor, and housing agency closing requirements for tax-exempt bonds, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversions, Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA), Freddie Mac Tax Exempt Loans (FTEL), and other U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and local housing agency loan/financing programs.
